Megan McIsaac - President & Head Trainer

Megan McIsaac is the president and founder of Lindinhof Equine Sports Zentrum. She had a desire to established a company totally based on the German concept of dressage training and develop a reputable sales facility.

Education

Megan McIsaac has been riding, competing, and breeding, starting, training dressage horses for 20 years. She is a USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist and is currently enrolled in the USDF Trainers Certification & ‘L’ judges Programs.

After years of harassing her parents every time that they would pass a horse training stable her mother finally gave in and let her start taking lessons at the age of 8. Over the years she has worked with an impressive list of trainers such as a year in California with Olympian Hilda Gurney at the age of 15. For four years she worked with US International rider George Williams at Tempel Farms in Wadsworth, Illinois. Megan has been a clinic participant with Conrad Schumacher, Olympians Steffen Peters, Michelle Gibson, Lisa Wilcox, Lars Peterson and Olympic judge Anne Gribbons, Betsy Steiner, Mette Rosencranz, and Jeff Moore. She was also a participant in the Wisconsin State Horse Council’s Olympic program as well as the 2006 Hilltop Young Horse Symposium. From 2003-2005 she attended the Graduated Young Ride Programs.

In 2000, Megan established her own dressage training and sales business, Lindinhof Equine Sports Zentrum. She likes to work with all types of horses and riders and enjoys helping rider’s find horses that enable them to follow their dreams. In the winters of 2006 & 2007, Megan was very fortunate to have been sponsored to train with her mentor, Olympian Christine Traurig in California. Also in 2007, Megan and her horse, No Doubt, competed successfully at Dressage at Devon, the most prestigious show in the USA where 14 countries come to compete. They placed 11th in the I-1 and qualified for the Freestyle. They were also WDCTA’s Grand Champions at PSG & I-1 levels. In the winter of 2008, she trained and competed for the first time in Wellington, FL. Her goal was to compete in the Brentina Cup qualifiers as well as qualify for the 2009 Festival of the Champions for the Brentina Cup Championships. Megan and No Doubt ended 10^th in the ranking!

2009 was selected to be demo rider at the Midwest Horse Fair for Jane Savoie

2007 competed at Dressage at Drevon. Placed 11th in the I-1 and qualified for the freestyle

2007 WDCTA Grand Champions at PSG & I-1 levels

2004 competed in the New Zealand Horse of the year show - Bronze & Silver Medals

Goals

Some of Megan's goals are to one day represent her country in the Olympics, World Cup, World Equestrian Games, Aachen and to be known for her quality dressage training and well trained horses. She would also like to be known for her good business reputation and matching suitable mounts to the right owners. Megan believes that the perfect sale is one where the client is happy after they purchase their horse.

Linda McIsaac - Advisor

Not only is she a parent, but she is an advisor to Megan. She has a vast experience in business having established and managed 2 businesses of her own. Linda is either behind the scenes in the office or seen offering a helping hand at shows or events that Megan and Lindinhof clients attend. There is nothing better than her homemade chocolate chip cookies! Thank you, thank you for all your help!

Cassie - Working Student

Cassie hails from Marshall and has a background in natural horsemenship and has worked with a lot of horse on ground work. She is currently apart of the team to start horses under saddle and is furthering her education in dressage.

Hannah - Working Student

Hannah has mainly worked Arabians and was invlolved in 4-H. She was regional champion at showmanship. Hannah has branched off and decided to learn more about dressage.
